As an independent, grassroots nonprofit, Preservation Raleigh is dedicated to securing our city’s rich architectural inheritance for everyone’s benefit. As Raleigh grows and evolves, we believe that people protect what they love, which is why our community education, advocacy, and fundraising events are designed to be engaging, accessible, and inclusive.
From our unique “Toilet Tour” exploring the fascinating history of our municipal plumbing to our exclusive “Hidden Gems” tours showcasing unseen architectural landmarks, our programming connects residents directly to the physical history that makes our city feel like home.
Every event we sponsor—including crowd-favorite fundraisers like our stylish “MCM Mingle” and our casual “Porch Party”—directly supports our vital, independent advocacy efforts at City Hall and beyond.
